ARMAGNAC CUGNAC COLLECTION

Grand Assembly
A VARIED AROMATIC PALETTE

- Talent -

Anchored in tradition, this cuvée is the fruit of what the joint work of nature and men offer when the terroir and the climate are at their quintessence.

This label was the result of the first collaboration between Raymond Savignac and Jacques Ryst in the 1940s. It evokes joy and vitality.

Shiny and light yellow. The nose is very fruity and floral. This easy-drinking Armagnac stands out for its lively character and great breadth. There are notes of fruit and vanilla.

-Struggle-

A lively style that evokes the worlds of sport, games and passion.

Hervé Morvan is a very famous Parisian poster artist from the end of the 1940s. He will create 4 labels at the request of Jacques Ryst. This tag symbolizes luck and love evoked by the heart on an ace.

Brilliant, golden yellow. A powerful Armagnac from which a lot of heat emerges. The dried fruits open the nose which gently spices up with cinnamon before culminating in the vanilla of the oak wood.

- Ruling -

The light shines in the depths of darkness, but to enjoy all its clarity, you have to desire it. A choice must be made, which will lead to a bright future. And you, what choice will you make?

Savignac will design this label in the 1950s for the house. He is a proud connoisseur who brings a good mature bottle back from his cellar – which has reached its full development.

Brilliant and coppery tinged with gold reflections. From the look, we guess a certain maturity, confirmed, on the nose, by the evocation of a slight rancio. The attack is frank and the mouth herbaceous, as if to plunge us into the undergrowth where the oak finds its fellow humus and mushrooms. This Armagnac offers a good balance between roundness and power while displaying a specific character.

- Achievements -

The accomplished man is the one who, beyond the satisfaction of his primary needs, has found the way to success and success.

Hervé Morvan is at work for this superb label which, at first, was only a project. It symbolizes the culmination and was created in 1951.

Shiny and dark golden. This balanced Armagnac combines roundness and power. An impressionist harmony with the marriage of fruits, flowers and spices. Notes of red fruits, chamomile, vanilla. Most remarkable is the endless aromatic persistence.

-Peakedness-

The perfect man is the one who, like Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, places himself in the center of the circle, the square and the 5-pointed star, while respecting the divine proportions. This perfect man does not exist but must inspire us in our search for perfection.

The “Lucky Star” is inspiration, brilliant creation. Hervé Morvan in this label wanted to show the path towards which we must go. Our 5 senses, sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing, are present in the 5 branches of the star. This label dates from 1952.

Shiny and dark golden, with mahogany reflections. The nose is warm, dense, powerful, with notes of wood and fruit and a touch of spice and leather. The mouth is silky, generous with fine and warm notes of wood on the throat, a spicy atmosphere, pepper, leather, a rich and long finish. This balanced Armagnac combines roundness and power and offers amateurs length, complexity and persistence.

- Celebration -

The man who has realized himself can enjoy the pleasures of life with a single objective: to make his entourage benefit from them. As the French writer Henry de Montherlant said: "The glory of great men is like shadows: it lengthens with their setting".

It is the man, facing himself, who enjoys his success that Hervé Morvan expressed in this label from the 1950s.

Bright and amber with mahogany reflections. Intensely aromatic and rich in flavor, with a silky texture and an aromatic bouquet, intermingled with notes of crème brûlée, violets and prunes. This balanced Armagnac combines roundness and power. It will delight connoisseurs by offering length in the mouth, complexity and persistence and is distinguished by its aged taste and meltedness.
